Description
The ProTide NUC-7738 is a phosphoramidate prodrug of Cordycepin (3’-dA, Axon 3825) and showed potent cytotoxic activity against a panel of hematological cancer cell lines. Moreover, NUC-7738 was able to bypass the premature breakdown, the poor uptake, and the kinase dependence for phosphorylation of the parental nucleoside. NUC-7738 promotes proapoptotic pathways and attenuates NF-kB.
