ML 365
- Soluble in DMSO
- MF: C22H20N2O3
- MW: 360.41
Description
ML365 is a potent and selective inhibitor of the two-pore-domain potassium channel TASK-1 (KCNK3/K2P3.1) with an IC50 value of 4 nM. Electrophysiological profiling showed approximately 62-fold selectivity over TASK-3.
By inhibiting the background potassium conductance generated by TASK-1, ML365 depolarizes responsive cells and alters membrane excitability. It is used in patch-clamp and functional studies of pulmonary vascular tone, respiratory control, cardiac electrophysiology and K2P channel gating.
Key Features
- Potent TASK-1/KCNK3 inhibitor
- IC50: 4 nM
- Approximately 62-fold selectivity over TASK-3
- Modulates background potassium conductance
Applications
- TASK-1 channel electrophysiology
- K2P channel pharmacology
- Membrane-excitability studies
- Pulmonary vascular research
- Respiratory and cardiac physiology
