Fluorescent probe QG-1
- Soluble in DMSO
- MF: C19H21N3O3
- MW: 339.39
Description
Fluorescent probe QG-1 is a reversible fluorescent sensor for reduced glutathione (GSH) with a reported Kd value of 2.59 mM. It responds rapidly to GSH under physiological conditions, with a reported half-response time of 5.82 seconds.
QG-1 enables real-time monitoring and relative quantification of intracellular GSH dynamics while displaying low cytotoxicity in the reported assay systems. It has been applied in HeLa cells to follow changes in cellular redox buffering and is useful for oxidative-stress, thiol-homeostasis and live-cell imaging studies.
