Description

BT-11 (Omilancor) is an orally active ligand and pathway activator of lanthionine synthetase C-like protein 2 (LANCL2), with a reported Kd value of 7.7 µM. LANCL2 engagement modulates immunometabolic signaling and promotes anti-inflammatory cellular programs.

BT-11 is designed to act predominantly in the gastrointestinal tract and has been used in inflammatory bowel disease models. It reduces expression of pro-inflammatory mediators such as TNF-α and IFN-γ while enhancing IL-10-associated responses, supporting studies of mucosal immunity, regulatory T cells and intestinal inflammation.
