Asoprisnil
- J867- Soluble in DMSO
- MF: C28H35NO4
- MW: 449.58
Description
Asoprisnil is a selective progesterone receptor modulator (SPRM) developed for pharmacological modulation of progesterone-responsive tissues.
Progesterone receptor signaling influences reproductive tissue growth, differentiation and hormone-responsive pathology. Asoprisnil is useful for studying partial agonist/antagonist PR pharmacology and progesterone-sensitive myoma biology.
Key Features
- Selective progesterone receptor modulator
- Modulates PR-dependent transcriptional responses
- Relevant to progesterone-sensitive myoma models
- Small-molecule steroid receptor pharmacology tool
Applications
- Progesterone receptor pharmacology
- Uterine fibroid and reproductive tissue research
- Nuclear receptor transcription assays
- Hormone-responsive disease models
