Description

SAG dihydrochloride is a Smo agonist with an apparent Kd value of 59 nM (SAG/Smo complex) and an EC50 value of 3 nM (pathway activation in a mouse cultured cell assay, Shh-LIGHT2). SAG binds to the Smo heptahelical bundle in a manner that antagonizes cyclopamine action.
