L-742001 hydrochloride is an inhibitor of influenza virus PA endonuclease. Moreover, L-742001 is a first-in-class highly selective inhibitor of cap-dependent endonuclease of influenza viruses (IC50 value of 0.43 µM for in vitro influenza virus transcription).
