Highly potent and selective chemokine CXCR4 receptor antagonist, with IC50 values to be 0.02-0.13 and >25 μM for CXCR4 and all other chemokine receptors respectively); HIV inhibitor; an immunostimulant used to multiply hematopoietic stem cells in cancer patients.
