Biological Activity:   A water soluble and potent Hdm2 inhibitor that inhibits the ubiquitin ligase activity of Hdm2, stabilizes p53 and activates p53-dependent transcription, and induces cell death; HLI 373 is effective in inducing apoptosis of several tumor cells lines that are sensitive to DNA-damaging agents.   References:   J Kitagaki et al.
